Steps:

1-3 Preparation of p-aminoacetanilide:
1) Add 120.00g of ethyl acetate, 32.00g of p-phenylenediamine, and 0.26g of triethylenediamine to a 250ml four-necked flask equipped with a stirring, condensation and heating system, and mix well to obtain a mixed solution; 2) Under the protection of nitrogen, heat the mixed solution to 65-90 °C, add 10.00g of acetic acid dropwise, after the addition, react at 78-82°C for 6 hours; 3) After the reaction, the temperature is lowered to 15-25 °C, and the filter cake is filtered after standing for 6.5 hours. After the filter cake is fully washed with n-butanol and dried at 80 °C in vacuum for 6 hours, 31.84g of white crystals of p-aminoacetanilide can be obtained.It can be seen from Figure 1 that the purity of p-aminoacetanilide was 99.1% by liquid phase detection, and the yield based on the weight of p-phenylenediamine was 98.6%.
