名稱	Berberine
描述	Berberine (Umbellatine) is a natural product of alkaloids, which can activate AMPK, inhibit DNA topoisomerase, and induce ROS generation. Berberine has anti-tumor, anti-bacterial, hypoglycemic, hypolipidemic and other biological activities.
體外活性	方法：人骨肉瘤細胞 MG-63 用 Berberine (20-80 μM) 處理 12-24 h，使用 MTT assay 檢測細胞活力。結(jié)果：Berberine 誘導(dǎo) MG-63 細胞活力的濃度和時間依賴性降低。[1] 方法：NPC 細胞系 HONE1 用 Berberine (25-50 μM) 處理 24 h，使用 Western Blot 檢測靶點蛋白表達水平。結(jié)果：Berberine 可以有效抑制 HONE1 細胞中 p-STAT3 的水平。STAT3 激活的下調(diào)與 Mcl-1 的表達受到抑制和 cleaved PARP-1 水平增加有關(guān)。[2]
體內(nèi)活性	方法：為測試體內(nèi)抗腫瘤活性，將 Berberine (5-10 mg/kg) 腹腔注射給攜帶 NPC 腫瘤 C666-1 的 nude 小鼠，每兩天一次，持續(xù)三十天。結(jié)果：Berberine 能有效抑制 EBV 陽性 NPC 細胞系 (C666-1) 在裸鼠體內(nèi)的致瘤性和生長。抑制體內(nèi) NPC 細胞的致瘤性生長與有效抑制裸鼠腫瘤異種移植物內(nèi) NPC 細胞中 STAT3 的激活相關(guān)。[2]

溶解度	10% DMSO+40% PEG300+5% Tween 80+45% Saline : 2.05 mg/mL (6.09 mM), Suspension. Please add co-solvents sequentially, clarifying the solution as much as possible before adding the next one. Dissolve by heating and/or sonication if necessary. Working solution is recommended to be prepared and used immediately. Chloroform, Dichloromethane, Ethyl Acetate, Acetone, etc. : Soluble DMSO : 5.63 mg/mL (16.72 mM), Sonication is recommended. H2O : ＜1 mg/mL (insoluble)
