Add p-carboxybenzaldehyde (15g, 0.01mol), 150mL methanol, p-toluenesulfonic acid monohydrate (0.75g, 0.00394mol), trimethyl orthoformate (3mL) into a 500mL single-necked flask, and react at room temperature for 24 hours, TLC The detection reaction is over.After the system was evaporated to dryness, add 200 mL of water, and extract the aqueous phase with dichloromethane three times. The amount of dichloromethane was 50 mL each time. Combine the organic phases, dry with anhydrous sodium sulfate, filter, and evaporate to dryness to obtain a crude product. The crude product was subjected to column chromatography. Purification gave the compound of formula 2 (7.8 g, yield 40%).
