1.3 General procedure for the hydrodehalogenation of o-haloanilides
General procedure: To a stirred solution of the 2-bromoanilide 1xa or 2-iodmoanilide 1xb (1 mmol), Cu(acac)2 (13mg, 0.05 mmol), vasicine (19 mg, 0.1 mmol) and Et2NH (146 mg, 2 mmol), EtOH (5 mL) in a sealed tube at 100 °C for 12 h. After cooled to room temperature, the reaction was concentrated in vacuo and purified by column chromatography to afford respective products.
