Reaction Conditions:
with sodium hydroxide in methanol at 64; for 4 h;Solvent;Temperature;Reagent/catalyst;
Steps:
1-15 Example 1
General procedure: The first step is to prepare sodium ricinoleate: ricinoleic acid (107.4 g, 0.36 mol) and sodium hydroxide (14.4 g, 0.36 mol) are added to ethanol (360 mL), and the molar concentration of ricinoleic acid is 1.0M. The system was stirred and reacted at 64°C for 4 hours. After the reaction, the system is a clear system. Collect the reaction liquid and perform post-processing operations: vacuum distillation to recover the solvent (can be recycled), then vacuum-dried by an oil pump, and ground to obtain a pale yellow powdery solid, which is the target product sodium ricinoleate (114.3g), the yield is 99.0 %.
