Steps:

1 Synthesis of 1.6-(2-methylpropyl)quinoline
80 g (0.38 mmol) of 6-bromoquinoline, 78.4 g (0.77 mol) of isobutylboronic acid,Tris(dibenzylideneacetone)dipalladium (2 mol%), 2-Dicyclohexylphosphino-2′,6′-dimethoxybiphenyl(4 mol%),Potassium phosphate monohydrate 354 g (1.54 mol), 800 mL of toluene, nitrogen replacement,The reaction was left to reflux under a nitrogen atmosphere for 18 hours.The reaction system was cooled to room temperature, and the eluent was purified by n-hexane/ethyl acetate = 100/2.57 g (yield: 80%) of 6-(2-methylpropyl)quinoline were obtained.
