a) Take a 25 mL Schlenk reaction tube, add 76.1 mg of vanillin, 79.8 mg of N-chlorosuccinimide, 7 μL of dimethyl sulfoxide, and 2 mL of chloroform, and stir for 12 hours at 25°C.After the reaction, the solvent was removed by rotary evaporation and column chromatography was separated to obtain 84.9 mg of chlorovanillin with a yield of 91%.
