EXAMPLE 8 Grey locks which are 90% white are dyed with the composition (A1) containing 5,6-dihydroxyindole under the conditions described above After drying, a lock dyed dark blonde is thereby obtained. A composition (B8) containing 1% by weight of 2,5-diaminopyridine in water to which an equal weight of 6% hydrogen peroxide solution has been added (pH of the mixture: 7.3) is applied on this lock for 3 minutes. After rinsing and drying, the lock has a stronger iridescent slightly dark-auburn tint.
