2.5. Typical procedure for the homo coupling reaction
General procedure: Aryl halide (1 mmol), K2CO3 (1 mmol) and Fe2O3FLGPd0 nanocatalyst(0.0001 g) were added to a round-bottomed flask containing 3 mL of DMF. The mixture was stirred at 110 °C for the time specified in Table 4. The mixture was stirred continuously during the reaction and monitored by both TLC (n-hexane-EtOAc, 9:1 and 8:2) and GC. When the reaction was complete, the mixture was cooled to room temperature, and the catalyst was separated by an external magnet and then diluted with ether and water. The organic phase was dried over MgSO4, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure using a rotary evaporator.
