The compound p-toluidine (34.3 g, 0.32 mol) was thoroughly dissolved in 300 mL of chloroform under a nitrogen atmosphere, and then 0.64 mol of iodine was added to the resulting solution at 0° C., followed by stirring for 2 hours. After the organic layer was extracted with a solution (1 mol, 300 mL) of sodium thiosulfate, the organic layer was thoroughly distilled and purified by column chromatography (chloroform/hexane) to prepare the compound 1-B (105.7 g, yield: 92%).MS[M+H]+=358
