Steps:

Generalprocedure for the deprotection of THP ethers 1b-7b

General procedure: ATRT (200 mg) was addedto a solution of THP ether 1b (270mg, 1.0 mmol) in dry CH3OH (5 mL). The mixture wasstirred at room temperature for 3.5 h. The mixture was filtered and theprecipitate was washed with CH3OH. The filtrate was evaporated underreduced pressure. The residue was purified by column chromatography withhexane-acetone (5 : 1) on silica gel to give 1a (186 mg, 100%).
