Description

7-epi-Taxol is a paclitaxel binds to tubulin, interfering with the normal function of microtubule. As a result the cell is unable to use its cytoskeleton in a flexible manner. The cell’s dynamic instability is interrupted. The compound 7-epi-Taxol has been isolated from Taxus brevifolia. 7-epi-Taxol also displays antineoplastic properties.
