Weifang Dayoo Biochemical Co., Ltd., established in 2006, is located in the Yangkou Chemical Industry Park. It is a technology-based production enterprise that integrates R&D, production, and sales. Dayoo adheres to the business strategy of “innovation-based, win-win cooperation, and creating value for customers”. Dayoo’s main business focuses on chemicals for thermal paper and chemicals for oilfields, which is a global professional manufacturer of sensitizers and developers for thermal paper with a market share of more than 60% in the world. To achieve the sustainable development of our company, we have established cooperation with universities such as Fudan University and China University of Petroleum. Among them, cooperating with the Institute of Materia Medica of Ocean University of China, we have established “Weifang Engineering Technology Research Center of chemicals for thermal paper” and “Weifang Enterprise Technology Center”. In 2019, our company was recognized as Shandong provincial-level R&D center and won the titles of Shandong Provincial Innovative Enterprise and High-Tech Enterprise. Our company holds 8 invention patents, 18 utility model patents, and 5 projects have been included in the technological innovation projects of
Shandong Province. Currently Dayoo has 110 employees, including 6 R&D staffs(3 postdocs, 1 graduate student, and 2 chemical industry college students). Dayoo has been ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001 approved. Our product 501 has obtained European REACH registration and has been recognized and praised by lots of customers.

The leading products of Dayoo are chemicals for thermal paper, such as PF201, diphenyloxyethane and lotion, 1,2-bis (3-methylphenoxy) ethane and 701, which occupy 70% of the market share. With the growing demand of thermal paper in China, the domestic chemicals for thermal paper cannot meet with the current domestic production situation, and cannot keep up with the development of thermal paper in quality, output and product category. Under this situation, Dayoo made R&D and produced new type high-quality thermal additives including diphenyloxyethane and lotion, 1,2- (3- methylphenoxy) ethane, with purity more than 99.5%, which fills the domestic gap to a certain extent. 

In the next few years, Dayoo plans to expand and improve its industrial chain, further enhance its competitiveness and discourse power voice in the industry field, and focus on the production and technical services of high-end specialty chemicals. We plan to launch new products with independent intellectual property rights, such as DPU, D90, UU and NKK1304, etc., with a production capacity of approximately 5000 tons, which will further fill the gap in the field of special chemicals for thermal paper in China.
