GMP Human VCAM-1 Protein, Fc Tag (GMP-VC1H25) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Phe 25 - Glu 698 (Accession # P19320-1).
Predicted N-terminus: Phe 25

This protein carries a human IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 100.7 kDa. The protein migrates as 126 kDa±5 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）
血管細(xì)胞粘附蛋白1（VCAM-1）也稱為CD106、INCAM-100和L1CAM，是一種屬于免疫球蛋白超家族的細(xì)胞表面唾液酸糖蛋白。VCAM-1/CD106含有7個(gè)Ig樣C2型（免疫球蛋白樣）結(jié)構(gòu)域。CD106/VCAM-1在炎癥的血管內(nèi)皮細(xì)胞上表達(dá)，在正常和炎癥組織中的巨噬細(xì)胞樣細(xì)胞和樹突狀細(xì)胞類型上也表達(dá)。L1CAM/VCAM-1在細(xì)胞識(shí)別中很重要，似乎在白細(xì)胞-內(nèi)皮細(xì)胞粘附中起作用。CD106/VCAM-1與白細(xì)胞上的β-1整合素VLA4相互作用，介導(dǎo)粘附和信號(hào)轉(zhuǎn)導(dǎo)。VCAM-1/VLA4相互作用可能在免疫反應(yīng)和白細(xì)胞向炎癥部位遷移中發(fā)揮病理生理作用。INCAM-100/VCAM1與ECMV-D衣殼蛋白結(jié)合，并作為該病毒的受體。
