This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 16.9 kDa. The protein migrates as 30-38 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）

T細(xì)胞特異性表面糖蛋白CD28也稱為TP44，是一種單程I型膜蛋白，含有一個(gè)Ig樣V型（免疫球蛋白樣）結(jié)構(gòu)域。是T細(xì)胞上表達(dá)的提供T細(xì)胞活化所需的共刺激信號(hào)的分子之一。CD28是CD80（B7.1）和CD86（B7.2）的受體。當(dāng)被Toll樣受體配體激活時(shí)，CD80在抗原呈遞細(xì)胞（APCs）中的表達(dá)上調(diào)?？乖蔬f細(xì)胞上的CD86表達(dá)是組成型的。CD28是唯一在幼稚T細(xì)胞上組成型表達(dá)的B7受體。
