L-JNKI-1 is a cell penetrating peptide inhibitor peptide targeting JNK, composed of 31 amino acids. In vivo studies have shown that L-JNKI-1 can effectively inhibit JNK activity. The results showed that Ang II induced a dose-dependent pressor response, and JNK inhibition significantly weakened this response. It was also found that 10 μ M L-JNKI-1 reduced phosphorylated c-Jun by 98% and phosphorylated Elk-1 by 100%. L-JNKI-1 can cross the blood-brain barrier and penetrate neurons in adult mice and P5 rats within 1 hour after intraperitoneal injection
