There are more than 30 types of Cecropin, which has broad-spectrum antibacterial effects. Cecropin P1 was first isolated from the small intestine of pigs and is a peptide sequence composed of 31 amino acids. Antibacterial peptides play an important role in maintaining the balance of gut microbiota, regulating the body's immune system, and defending against pathogens. Cecropin P1 mainly targets Gram negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhimurium, Haemophilus parasuis) and some Gram positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus), and has good antibacterial activity.
