Description：Nogo-66 (1-40)是對應(yīng)于Nogo-66的殘基1-40的多肽，序列中含有40個氨基酸，肽鏈兩端均被封閉，Nogo-66是抑制軸突生長的髓鞘蛋白Nogo的結(jié)構(gòu)域。作為Nogo-66受體(NgR)的競爭性拮抗劑，能阻斷Nogo-66和CNS髓鞘誘導(dǎo)的軸突生長抑制，但在體外不降低髓鞘相關(guān)糖蛋白(MAG)對軸突生長的抑制。Nogo-66 (1-40)在體內(nèi)脊髓損傷后促進(jìn)半切脊髓軸突的再生和運動恢復(fù)。
"Nogo-66 (1-40) is a peptide corresponding to residues 1-40 of Nogo-66. The sequence contains 40 amino acids, and both ends of the peptide chain are blocked. Nogo-66 is the domain of the myelin protein Nogo, which inhibits axon growth.". As a competitive antagonist of the Nogo-66 receptor (NgR), it can block the inhibition of axon growth induced by the myelin sheath of Nogo-66 and CNS, but does not reduce the inhibition of myelin associated glycoprotein (MAG) on axon growth in vitro. Nogo-66 (1-40) promotes axonal regeneration and motor recovery after spinal cord injury in vivo.
