Certepetide (CEND-1) is a bifunctional cyclic peptide (a.k.a. iRGD), which is a cyclic peptide composed of 9 amino acids and contains a pair of disulfide bonds in its sequence. Certepetide is a peptide that can penetrate tumor, and its RGD motif can α- V integrins interact with each other and activate neurociliary protein 1 (NRP-1), thus transforming the solid tumor microenvironment into a temporary drug pipeline. Certepetide can accumulate in tumors and can be used in the research of pancreatic cancer and other solid tumors.
