| CKS 17 Usage And Synthesis |
Uses | CKS-17 is a synthetic retroviral envelope peptide. CKS-17 has the highly conserved amino acid sequences occurring within the transmembrane envelope protein of many animal and human retroviruses. CKS-17 acts as an immunomodulatory epitope and exhibits suppressive properties for numerous immune functions[1][2][3]. | in vivo | CKS-17 (10 μM; i.d.; B6AF1 mice and C57BL/6J mice) inhibits delayed-type hypersensitivity (DTH) reactions to sheep erythrocytes in the feet of mice[2]. Animal Model: | B6AF1 mice and C57BL/6J mice with DTH models[2] | Dosage: | 10 μM | Administration: | Intradermal injection, into the right hind footpad | Result: | Had a transient depressive effect on DTH reaction. |
