Sp.Gr. 1.02. Fresh-green, spicy-herbaceous Cassia-cinnamon type odor, more Cassia-like than the
Diethyl acetal, yet less harsh than the aldehyde. Sweet spicy -herbaceous taste, but not nearly
as sweet as the alciehyde.
Occurrence
Has apparently not been reported to occur in nature.
