Verwenden

The level of adenosine kinase activity in isolated sections of mouse hippocampi was determined using the ATP Bioluminescent Assay kit. Samples were diluted to a protein concentration of 1 mg/ml in adenosine 5′-triphosphate assay mix dilution buffer and spiked with adenosine which is phosphorylated to AMP by adenosine kinase and then to ATP by supplied recombinant GTP:AMP phosphotransferase and pyruvate kinase. The level of ATP measured can be correlated to the level of adenosine kinase activity.
