Beschreibung

Russian workers have isolated this steroidal alkaloid from the aerial parts of Petilium eduardi and determined the structure by spectroscopic methods. Oxidation of the base yields the same diketone derivative as that obtained from edpetilidine, which has been shown not to be identical with petilinedione.
