Beschreibung
Also isolated from the roots of Orixa japonica, this alkaloid occurs in various
species of Evodia and Flindersia. It crystallizes from EtOH in colourless prismsand forms a crystalline hydrochloride, m.p. 225°C (dec.) and a picrate, m.p.
218°C. The structure of this alkaloid has recently been revised to that given
above.
