Hazard Information | Back Directory | [Uses]
N-Lauryldiethanolamine has a wide range of applications including use as an additive in polymers, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. N-Lauryldiethanolamine is also used in sample preparation as it can be used to remove cations from samples. It is also used as a cationic surfactant which helps to disperse particles in liquid systems. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy can be used to identify hydrogen bonding interactions between hydroxyl groups and nitrogen atoms in this product. |
