At room temperature to 500mL three-necked flask, followed by adding 50g (0.134mol) trazodone, 300mL ethanol, mechanical agitation was warmed to 60 , after the solid was dissolved, was added dropwise 12mol / LHCl water, adjusting the pH to 3, then slowly cooled to 0 , a lot of white solid precipitated, heat stirring for 2 hours, filtered, 50 vacuum drying 51g (0.125mol) trazodone hydrochloride, yield 93%.
