Reference Example 181 tert-Butyl 5-amino-2-fluorobenzoate [Show Image] To a solution of tert-butyl 2-fluoro-5-nitrobenzoate (500 mg) in tetrahydrofuran (50 mL) was added 10% palladium-active carbon carrier (containing 50% water, 58 mg), and the resulting mixture was stirred for 6 hours under a hydrogen atmosphere. The reaction solution was filtered and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain the title compound (447.2 mg) as a yellow oil. ¹H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl₃) δ 7.14-7.11 (m, 1H), 6.92-6.88 (m, 1H), 6.78-6.74 (m, 1H), 3.62 (brs, 2H), 1.53 (s, 9H). MS (ESI⁺) 212 (M⁺ + 1, 67%), 156 (100%).
