General procedure for C-O cross-coupling reaction:
General procedure: In a reaction tube Pd catalyst (25 mg), Cs2CO3 (1.2 mmol, 0.165 g), Toluene (2 mL), arylhalide (1 mmol) and alcohol (1.2 mmol) were added and this mixture was heated whilst keep on stirring at 80 °C. After 6h the reaction mixture was stopped and the reaction mixture was cooled at room temperature. The organic layer was extracted in the solution mixture of water and ethylacetate, organic layer was dried under reduced pressure and the resulting residue was subjected for the column chromatographic separation of the final product which was further confirmed by the 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopy.
