The 2-(3-nitrobenzylidene) ethyl acetoacetate of 150.0kg is added in the ethanol of 480.0kg, the methyl 3-aminocrotonate of 85.0kg is added again, the molecular sieve activation that adds 30.0kg in the system again powder; after the feeding is completed, the temperature is raised to 65-70 °C, and the reaction is carried out for 16 h. After the reaction is completed, the molecular sieve activated powder is filtered out, the filtrate is cooled to 0-10 °C, stirred for 2 h, and the system is centrifuged to obtain a yellow solid and dried at 60-65 °C. In 6 hours, 187.0 kg of nitrendipine (content 99.84%, yield 91.02%). The chromatographic purity of nitrendipine is 99.88%, the impurity B is 0.06%, and the impurity C is 0.03%. The specific chromatographic data are shown in Figure 1.
