EXAMPLE 255A N-(3-bromophenyl)-2-chloroacetamide The procedure described in Example 33A was followed, substituting 3-bromophenylamine for 3-methylaniline to provide the title compound (100% yield) as a white solid. 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ4.19 (s, 2H), 7.24 (m, 1H), 7.31 (m, 1H), 7.47 (m, 1H), 7.81 (dd, 1H, J=1.9, 1.9 Hz), 8.20 (br s, 1H); MS (DCI/NH3) m/e 248/250 (M+H)+; 263/265 (M+NH4)+.
