with n-C₄H₉Li in diethyl ether;byproducts: LiCl; Sonication; (Ar); using Schlenk techniques; condensation of Et2O onto solid C12H8Br2at -78°C with stirring, addn. of soln. of 2 equiv. of n-BuLi in hexane, stirring for 3 h at room temp., addn. of soln. of Me2SnCl2 in Et 2O at room temp., stirring overnight; removal of solvent in vac.; vac. transferring of hexane into flask, sonication for 10 min; filtration, removal of solvent in vac., elem. anal.;
