In a 2000ml autoclave (316L material) with mechanical stirring and thermostat, 440.0g of toluene solution of acetaldehyde (4mol, mass fraction 40%) was added,800g of toluene and 20g of HSiW-V2O5-SiO2 solid acid catalyst (HSiW loading 5wt%, V2O5 loading 0.1wt%), then slowly introduce isobutylene into the reaction system until the pressure reaches 0.60MPa (6mol), the reaction kettle is heated up To 120°C,The stirring speed was 800 rpm, and samples were taken every 1 hour for analysis. After 5 hours of reaction, the gas chromatography showed that the acetaldehyde was completely converted and the reaction was terminated.The excess isobutene recovery is applied to the next batch of reaction, the reactor is disassembled, the reaction liquid is pumped out with a peristaltic pump, filtered, and the catalyst recovery continues to be applied to the next batch of reaction,The filtrate was rectified to obtain 1 kg of toluene, 4-methyl-3-en-2-pentanol and 4-methyl-4-en-2-pentanol (383g, yield 95.7%,The molar ratio of 4-methyl-3-en-2-pentanol to 4-methyl-4-en-2-pentanol is 4:1).
