3.3. Synthesis of the compound 4 series
General procedure: Compounds 3 (20 mmol) were dissolved in tetrahydrofuran (5 mL) in a 50 mL flask, then the solution was heated up to 50 °C slowly, phosphorus pentasulfide (40 mmol) was added in batches and stirred for 1.5 h at the same temperature. After cooling to room temperature, the reaction solution was poured to a beaker with 100 mL mixture of ice-cold water standing for another 2 h. And then it was extracted with ethyl acetate for 3 times, the organic phase was evaporated to obtain the crude product. Compounds 4 were yielded by dissolving the crude product in hot ethyl acetate, filtering while hot, and the solvent evaporating at reduced pressure.
