In a Three-necked flask of 100mL with Dimroth condenser, Pd(OAc)₂ 135mg (0.60 mmol), 2,2'-bipyridyl 1.79g (11.4 mmol), neopentyl glycol 4.17g(40 mmol) , n- propyl vinyl ether 32.7g (380 mmol) were added, and vinylationreaction was performed for 15 hours at 50 ° C. The liquid after the completionof the reaction was analyzed by gas chromatography, the conversion rate ofneopentyl glycol is 97%, the yield of neopentyl glycol monomethyl ether was32%, the yield of neopentyl glycol divinyl ether was 65% yield that has beengenerated, and contained n- propyl vinyl ether 27.1g, reaction by-product n-propanol 3.8g.
