Steps:

1.A Step A: 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-5H-benzo[e][1,4]diazepin-5-one

Under N2 protection,Methyl 2-chlorobenzoate (5.00 g, 0.029 mol),Ethylenediamine(8.81 g, 0.15 mol) and anhydrous potassium carbonate (8.10 g, 0.59 mol) in DMF (100 mL)cool down,Concentrated under reduced pressure,Add water to the residue,Extract three times with ethyl acetate.Combine the ethyl acetate phase,Wash with saturated sodium chloride solution,Dry anhydrous sodium sulfate,Concentration gave a black residue.Chromatography of the residue on silica gel eluting with ethyl acetate / petroleum ether gradient(20-50%) elution,getWhite solid product (2.5 g, 52.6%).
