2-bromo-3',4'-ethylenedioxyacetophenone

The filtrate was concentrated on a rotavap to give an orange solid (27.77 g, 94 % yield, containing [21%] unreacted starting material). The material iwas carried to the next step without further [PURIFICATION.'H] NMR (300 MHz, CDC13) 8 7.60 (d, 1H), 7.40 (s, [1H),] 6. [85] (d, [1H),] 6.20 (s, 2H), 4.40 (s, 2H). Yield: 94%
