HEALTH | 0 | Poses no health hazard, no precautions necessary and would offer no hazard beyond that of ordinary combustible materials
FIRE | 1 | Materials that require considerable preheating, under all ambient temperature conditions, before ignition and combustion can occur. Includes some finely divided suspended solids that do not require heating before ignition can occur. Flash point at or above 93.3 °C (200 °F). (e.g. mineral oil, ammonia)
REACT | 0 | Normally stable, even under fire exposure conditions, and is not reactive with water (e.g. helium,N2)
SPEC. HAZ. |
Avoid breathing vapours, mist or gas. For personal protection see section 8.
Do not let product enter drains.
Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
For disposal see section 13.
Normal measures for preventive fire protection. For precautions see section 2.2.
Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.
Recommended storage temperature 2 - 8 °C
Air and moisture sensitive. Light sensitive. Store under inert gas.
Apart from the uses mentioned in section 1.2 no other specific uses are stipulated
General industrial hygiene practice.
Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166(EU).
Handle with gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Use proper glove removal technique (without touching glove's outer surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with applicable laws and good laboratory practices. Wash and dry hands.
The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and the standard EN 374 derived from it.

If used in solution, or mixed with other substances, and under conditions which differ from EN 374, contact the supplier of the CE approved gloves. This recommendation is advisory only and must be evaluated by an industrial hygienist and safety officer familiar with the specific situation of anticipated use by our customers. It should not be construed as offering an approval for any specific use scenario.
Impervious clothing, The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.
Respiratory protection not required. For nuisance exposures use type OV/AG (US) or type ABEK (EU EN 14387) respirator cartridges. Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU).
Do not let product enter drains.

IncompatibilitiesPhylloquinone is photosensitive; decomposes in sunlight and is destroyed by alkali hydroxides and reducing agents such as hydrideds and active metals. Incompatible with oxidizers (chlorates, nitrates, peroxides, permanganates, perchlorates, chlorine, bromine, fluorine, etc.); contact may cause fires or explosions. Keep away from alkaline materials, strong bases, strong acids, oxoacids, epoxides.
Waste DisposalIt is inappropriate and possibly dangerous to the environment to dispose of expired or waste drugs and pharmaceuticals by flushing them down the toilet or discarding them to the trash. Household quantities of expired or waste pharmaceuticals may be mixed with wet cat litter or coffee grounds, double-bagged in plastic, discard in trash.
