Apigenin is a common flavonoid with extensive pharmacological effects. In vitro and animal experiments have found that apigenin can prevent, treat or sensitize a variety of tumors. It has a protective effect on the lesions of bone, prostate, liver, eye and other tissues and organs caused by a variety of reasons, and also has a certain preventive effect on the lesions of the central nervous system. It has obvious effect on the endocrine function of the reproductive system of female and male rats. Apigenin also has antibacterial, antiviral, anti-allergic, anti-oxidation, radiation damage protection and regulation of differentiation and other effects. This ARTICLE SUMMARIZES THE research progress of apIGENin in pharmacology in recent 3 years, which has guiding significance for further development of APigenin.
