Zineb---Organic sulfur fungicide
Jun 17,2022
Zineb is a protective organic sulfur fungicide. Zineb is safe for plants, chemically active, easily oxidized into isothiocyanate compounds in water, has a strong inhibitory effect on enzymes containing -SH group in pathogenic bacteria, and can directly kill pathogen spores and inhibit spore germination , to prevent the pathogen from invading the plant body, but the killing effect on the pathogenic mycelium invading the plant body is small.
Zineb can be used for both sterilization and Zineb supplementation. Both sterilization and zinc supplementation are quick-acting. The drug effect is generally 5-7 days.
Precautions
(1) Cucurbitaceae vegetables are sensitive to zinc, and the concentration should be strictly controlled when taking medicine, and the concentration should not be too large.
(2) Can not be mixed with alkaline pesticides.
(3) This product is easily decomposed by moisture and heat. It should be stored in a cool and dry place, and the container should be tightly sealed.
(4) When using, be careful not to splash the liquid into the eyes, nose, mouth, etc., wash your face and hands with soap after taking the medicine.
Uses
Zineb can prevent and treat diseases caused by a variety of fungi.
(1) Prevention and treatment of potato early blight, late blight, tomato early blight, late blight, leaf blight, leaf mold, anthracnose, gray mold, eggplant blight, brown scab, cabbage, radish, cabbage downy mildew, Black spot, white spot, soft rot, black rot, melon anthracnose, downy mildew, blight, vine blight, wax gourd blight, bean anthracnose, brown spot, rust, fire disease, etc. 65% of Dysenzinc WP 500-700 times liquid spray. The number of spraying times depends on the onset of the disease. Generally, the first spray is started before the onset of the disease or at the early stage of the onset of the disease. After that, spray once every 7 to 10 days, and spray 2-3 times quickly.
(2) To prevent and control diseases at the seedling stage of vegetables, the "five-generation mixture" can be used to treat the soil with Zinc Desen and Pentachloronitrobenzene. That is, after mixing equal amounts of pentachloronitrobenzene and dysenzinc, use 8-10 grams of the mixed preparation per square meter of seedling bed surface. Mix the medicament with an appropriate amount of fine soil before use; take one third of the medicinal soil and sprinkle it on the bed surface as cushion soil, and use the remaining two-thirds of the medicinal soil for covering the soil after sowing, and then use plastic film. Cover the bed and keep the bed moist until the seedlings emerge.
(3) To prevent downy mildew of cabbage and diseases at the seedling stage of vegetables, 0.3-0.4% of the weight of the seeds can be used for chemical seed dressing.
