This product is a white or off-white columnar grains with good thermal stability and dispersion.and its effective content more than 70%.

The heat stabilized hexabromocyclododecane(SHBCD) is a high bromine content alicyclic additive flame retardant, it has low consumption, good flame-retardant effect, good thermal stability, physical properties of materials and small impact Features. Mainly used for XPS and other polystyrene resin.

Compared with ordinary HBCD,it has higher decomposition temperature and not easy to break down the volatile active ingredient during high-temperature processing. At the same time, the material should not decompose, does not produce free bromine, to avoid corrosion free bromine to the screw.

HBCD  is a kind of white cystalline powder,can be called 

as  Hexabromocyclododecane  or HBCDD either. 

HBCD is one of Cycloaliphatic flame retardants with high bromine.

Application:

1. HBCDis mainly used in the inflaming retarding of EPS, 

epoxy resin, silicone resin, coating, adhesive, textile. HBCD has a good imflaming

retarding effect either when do not be used with antimony synergist together.

2.after thermal stabilization can be used as the

inflaming  retardant in like HIPS, EPS, XPS, PP, homopolymer and copolymer,ect..

The HBCD TS Garde can be used alone or together with antimony trioxide.
