Name	9-cis-Retinal
Description	9-cis-Retinal is a retinoid with Kd of 8 nM and 5 nM for cellular retinol binding protein-I (CRBP-1) and CRBP-II, respectively. 9-cis-Retinal accelerates the differentiation and maturation of rod photoreceptors in retinal organoids, reduces the toxicity of unliganded opsins, and can be used to study congenital stationary night blindness caused by G90D rhodopsin.
In vitro	方法：通過熒光光譜監(jiān)測 9-cis-retinol, 9-cis-retinal, and 9-cis-RA與 CRBPI 和 CRBPII 的結(jié)合，并用非線性回歸分析數(shù)據(jù)，確定了表觀解離常數(shù) K'(d)。結(jié)果：CRBPI 和 CRBPII 分別以高親和力結(jié)合9-cis-retinol (K'(d)，11nM 和 68nM) 和 9-cis-retinal (K'(d)，8nM 和 5nM)；暫未觀察到 CRBPI 或 CRBPII 與 9-cis-RA的顯著結(jié)合。[1]
In vivo	方法：記錄基線 ERG 后，讓IRBP 缺失的小鼠休息 12 小時(shí)，腹膜內(nèi)注射 0.375 mg的 9-cis-retinal，分析之前和之后的 ERG 來測試IRBP 缺失的小鼠視錐細(xì)胞中 11-cis-retinal的缺陷。結(jié)果：9-cis-retinal治療可顯著增加視錐細(xì)胞響應(yīng) ；IRBP 缺失的小鼠的視錐細(xì)胞對(duì)外源性 9-cis-retinal特別敏感，而視錐細(xì)胞功能恢復(fù)到 WT 水平表明IRBP 缺失小鼠的視錐細(xì)胞功能障礙是由 11-cis-retinal缺乏引起的。[4]
