This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 17.8 kDa. The protein migrates as 27-35 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）

胎盤生長因子（PGF）也稱為血管內(nèi)皮生長因子相關(guān)蛋白PLGF和PlGF2，是VEGF（血管內(nèi)皮生長因素）亞家族的成員，是血管生成和血管生成的關(guān)鍵分子，特別是在胚胎發(fā)育過程中。妊娠期PGF的主要來源是胎盤滋養(yǎng)層。PGF也在許多其他組織中表達(dá)，包括絨毛滋養(yǎng)層。PGF在血管生成和內(nèi)皮細(xì)胞生長中具有活性，刺激其增殖和遷移。PlGF2以肝素依賴的方式結(jié)合NRP1/神經(jīng)白素-1和NRP2/神經(jīng)白蛋白-2。還促進(jìn)細(xì)胞腫瘤生長。
