背景（Background）
FGF8被鑒定為一種雄激素誘導的生長因子，由乳腺癌細胞系分泌，在胚胎發(fā)育過程中廣泛表達。它已被證明介導胚胎上皮-間充質轉化，并在原腸胚形成和中腦/后腦、咽、心臟、泌尿生殖和肢體結構的早期組織和分化中起著關鍵作用。在成年期，FGF8的表達受到更多限制，但在激素性癌癥中，它經常被激活。FGF8亞家族，包括FGF8、FGF17和FGF18，不僅在前列腺、乳腺癌癥中檢測到，而且在肝細胞癌（HCC）中也檢測到。FGF8、FGF17和FGF18參與HCC中的自分泌和旁分泌信號傳導，并增強腫瘤細胞在應激條件下的存活率、惡性行為和新生血管生成。脊椎動物FGF8基因通過選擇性剪接產生多種蛋白質亞型。兩種進化上保守的剪接形式FGF8a和FGF8b表現出不同的生物活性，其中FGF8b由于對FGF受體具有更高的親和力而具有更強的誘導活性。
