This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 19.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 20-30 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

白細胞介素33（IL33）被稱為C9orf26、DKFZp586H0523、DVS27、NF-HEV、NFEHEV、RP11-575C20.2，是一種屬于IL-1超家族的細胞因子。IL-33誘導輔助性T細胞、肥大細胞、嗜酸性粒細胞和嗜堿性粒細胞產(chǎn)生2型細胞因子。IL-33通過與受體ST2（又名IL1RL1）和IL-1受體輔助蛋白（IL1RAP）相互作用，激活NF-κB和MAP激酶信號通路中的細胞內(nèi)分子，驅(qū)動極化Th2細胞產(chǎn)生2型細胞因子（如IL-5和IL-13），從而介導其生物學效應。在體內(nèi)，IL-33誘導IL-4、IL-5和IL-13的表達，并導致粘膜器官的嚴重病理變化。
