PDZ1 Domain inhibitor peptide is a cyclic peptide consisting of 7 amino acids that binds to the β - Ala lactam side chain linker and targets the PDZ1 domain of PSD-95. The PDZ1 domain inhibitor peptide disrupts the interaction between GluR6/PSD-95 and can compete with the C-terminus of GluR6 for binding in the PDZ1 domain.
