This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag?).

The protein has a calculated MW of 87.2 kDa. The protein migrates as 95-125 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）

血管緊張素轉(zhuǎn)換酶2（ACE2）也稱為ACEH（ACE同源物），是一種與ACE具有相當(dāng)同源性的完整膜蛋白，屬于肽酶M2家族。ACE2是一種外肽酶，催化血管緊張素I轉(zhuǎn)化為九肽血管緊張素，或血管緊張素II轉(zhuǎn)化為血管緊張素1-7。ACE2可能是心臟功能的重要調(diào)節(jié)因子。在人類冠狀病毒SARS和HCoV-NL63感染的情況下，ACE-2作為兩種冠狀病毒刺突糖蛋白的功能受體。ACE2被氯化物和氟化物激活，但不被溴化物激活，被MLN-4760、cFP_Leu和EDTA抑制，但不受ACE抑制劑利諾昔普利、卡托普利和依那普利的抑制。ACE2在pH 6至9范圍內(nèi)具有活性，在1M NaCl的存在下，最適pH為6.5。
