Copeptin (human) is a diagnostic and prognostic biomarker for cardiovascular disease (CVD), consisting of a peptide of 39 amino acids. Copeptin (human) is also the carboxyl terminal of arginine vasopressin (AVP) precursor peptide. Copeptin (human) can be used for research on cardiovascular diseases. Copeptin (human) is a peptide substance mainly produced in paraventricular neurons and the hypothalamic supraoptic nucleus.
