Description：RW3 是一個小型陽離子六肽，是由Arg和Trp組成的多肽，具有兩親性。RW3 針對細(xì)菌的細(xì)胞質(zhì)膜，通過抑制細(xì)胞呼吸和細(xì)胞壁合成來發(fā)揮作用。RW3 對革蘭氏陽性細(xì)菌表現(xiàn)出較高的生物活性，并且在之前的研究中沒有顯示出顯著的細(xì)胞毒性或溶血作用。RW3 在兩倍最小抑制濃度 (MIC) 下，RW3 能在 10 分鐘內(nèi)迅速殺死 97% 的初始菌落形成單位 (CFU)。RW3 可用于抗微生物和抗真菌的研究。
RW3 is a small cationic hexapeptide composed of Arg and Trp, exhibiting amphiphilicity. RW3 targets the bacterial cell membrane by inhibiting cell respiration and cell wall synthesis. RW3 exhibits high biological activity against Gram positive bacteria and has not shown significant cytotoxicity or hemolytic effects in previous studies. RW3 can rapidly kill 97% of initial colony forming units (CFU) within 10 minutes at twice the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC). RW3 can be used for research on antimicrobial and antifungal properties.
