This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 67.4 kDa. The protein migrates as 66 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）

血清白蛋白（SA）也稱為ALB，是血漿的主要蛋白質(zhì)，對(duì)水、Ca2+、Na+、K+、脂肪酸、激素、膽紅素和藥物具有良好的結(jié)合能力。SA的主要功能是調(diào)節(jié)血液的膠體滲透壓。作為血漿中的主要鋅轉(zhuǎn)運(yùn)蛋白，SA通常結(jié)合所有血漿鋅的約80%。白蛋白的變異結(jié)構(gòu)可能導(dǎo)致鋅結(jié)合增加，導(dǎo)致血液中鋅濃度無(wú)癥狀增加。血清白蛋白缺陷可導(dǎo)致家族性蛋白異常高鐵血癥，這是一種甲狀腺功能正常的高鐵血癥形式，是由于血清白蛋白對(duì)T4的親和力增加所致。它是高加索人群中遺傳性甲狀腺功能正常高甲狀腺素血癥的最常見原因。
