It is highly expressed by macrophages, bronchial epithelium, and type II alveolar epithelial cells (AEC) in allergic airway inflammation. FIZZ1 (32-51) (mouse) also has anti apoptotic effects on lung fibroblasts. FIZZ-1 (32-51) (mouse) can be used for the study of allergic pneumonia.
